Médica, Holandesa, con 15 años de experiencia en el área de Salud Ocupacional, Salud Ambiental, trabajo infantil. La experiencia más reciente dentro de la OMS/OPS ha sido:

  • 2002-2007: Punto Focal Programa Global Salud de los Trabajadores OMS Ginebra
  • 2001-2002- OIT Ginebra; asesora de salud del programa de erradicación del trabajo infantil
  • 2000-2001- OMS Ginebra; programa de Salud Ocupacional
  • 1997-2000- Consultora Regional Salud Ocupacional OPS Washington
  • 1995-1997- Asesora Nacional Salud Ocupacional OPS Perú
  • 1993-1995- Asesora Nacional Salud Ocupacional OPS Panamá

También ha colaborado en Asia (particularmente China y India), África y América Latina brindado cooperación tecnica en más que 60 países.
Su particular interés y expertise es en determinantes de la salud, salud de los trabajadores, trabajo infantil, espacios saludables, gestión y evaluación de riesgos ambientales y ocupacionales.
